 About

Connecting Insight

Connecting Insight is a boutique strategy and communications consultancy, focusing on helping leaders and organisations bring clarity to complex situations, particularly where judgement, communication and organisational dynamics intersect.

Many leaders seek an independent perspective at moments when decisions carry significant consequences: when internal perspectives are divided, roles or responsibilities are unclear, or the implications of getting a decision wrong feel significant. Connecting Insight provides calm, independent thinking to help clarify what is happening and support well-considered decisions about the way forward.

The work often involves acting as a confidential thinking partner to leaders navigating complex decisions, sensitive matters or periods of organisational change.

About Lucy Paltnoi

Lucy Paltnoi is the founder of Connecting Insight.

Before establishing the consultancy, Lucy spent nearly two decades working in the City of London as a Corporate and Commercial Solicitor and Partner, advising businesses, founders and leadership teams on complex commercial matters. Her work included mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, strategic negotiations and significant business decisions.

Through that experience she developed a particular interest in the human dynamics that sit behind important decisions, for example, how leadership, communication and organisational structures influence outcomes, especially when situations become complex or sensitive.

Lucy now works with leaders, founders and boards seeking thoughtful external perspective when navigating complex issues or significant decisions. Her approach combines strategic analysis, careful listening and clear insight to help clients understand situations more fully and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Areas of Interest

Lucy has a long-standing interest in how leadership, communication and institutions shape decision-making and organisational life.

Outside client work she enjoys engaging with ideas around politics, global affairs and leadership, as well as culture and the arts, particularly dance and film.

She lives in the UK with her husband, two daughters, a dog who believes he's human and a cat who believes he's a dog.
